How do I Know if I have Low Progesterone
Barbara: “Chances are, if you are between ages 35-45, your progesterone is now low.”
See the chart below:
Signs of low Progesterone if you are “Under” 45 years of age
Irregular periods / Frequent Periods
Spotting before periods (progesterone level dropping prematurely)
Heavy periods
Clotting PMS
Fibrocystic breasts / sore breasts
Endometriosis
Fibroids
Anxiety, irritability, nervousness
Feel the need to be tested? Testing is not absolutely necessary…you can go by your symptoms. If you do wish to test, you must test 1 week before your period which is Day 19-21.
NOTE: Once you begin to use transdermal progesterone crème (through the skin) you need to test with saliva, not blood to get an accurate reading.
Signs of low progesterone if you are “Over” 45 years of age:
Fatigue
Insomnia
Anxiety / Depression
Brain Fog
Heart Palpitations
Itchy Skin
Aching joints & Muscles
Weight Gain, especially around the middle
Thinning Hair
Facial Hair
Osteopenia / osteoporosis
Why Supplement? Why not let “nature run its course” as our mothers would say?
Because times have changed!
Women are living longer
Women took Birth Control Pills which totally disrupt the hormone system.
Xeno-estrogens in the environment create estrogen dominance in a woman’s body.
It is not necessary to succumb to all of these symptoms. It’s easy to rebalance yourself. Progesterone is the “Feel Good” Hormone. Within 3 months, you can correct your deficiency and feel like your “Old Self” again. I promise.
